VERONA'S EXHIBITION
Magazine epocaAuto is launching the event for Alfa enthusiasts on Saturday 6th May. The Alfa Giulia arrived in 1962 like a comet. A 1600 motor, aero-dynamic veining both at the front and along the truncated profile of the tail, shiny, fast, safe on bends and reliable when braking, Alfa Giulia was first of all a total surprise, then a complete success. It exceeded all other vehicles with equivalent engine type and size: the T series, with 92 horsepower, reached the speed of 176 km per hour in the Quattroruote test. Thanks to its performance and constant mechanical evolution - the disk brakes, the gear levers, the 98 horsepower of the Giulia Super - this car soon became the go-to vehicle of police forces and criminals alike, the former for chasing criminals, the latter for running away. As the first advertisement suggests, it really did seem as if this super-fast four-door car had been designed by the wind.
