VERONA'S EXHIBITION
THE 1979 FIAT RITMO - 75 L G.2 shown by Registro Fiat Italiano in Verona was purchased on 29 April 1983 directly from Fiat Abarth by a private party and is held by the same owner 35 years later. It is the last example of this Rally model built by Fiat Abarth, of the few units produced. Piloted by pilot Bettega Attilio and driver Perissinot, it has raced in the 1981 Monte Carlo Rally and in the 1981 Costa Smeraldo Rally. The following year, it ran in the Targa Florio and Isola d’Elba Rally with pilot Franco Cunico and driver Sergio Cresto. After its purchase, the auto ran another 15 years, both on the track and in hill climbing races, remaining stationary in the garage for another 15 years. In all these years, the original parts have never been changed or replaced, but have been conserved and restored, receiving A.S.I. recognition. GOLD PLATE awarding its total originality.
